The Pars Altera Chronici Lemovicensis of Geoffroy de Vigeois records that "nobilis Ebo de Charento" with "Gaucherio de Salis qui fuit filius Geraldi de Mania" with "nuru sua, quæ fuit uxor Archambaldi de Borbon et soror ducis Burgundiæ" invaded Limoges, dated to 1182. “Ebo de Charentone” donated property to La Charité-sur-Loire by charter dated to [1188].
