"The marriage took place in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Te Awamutu, recently, of Miss Bessie Agnes Laidlaw, daughter of Mr. James S. Laidlaw, of Pakura Street, Te Awamutu, to Mr. Robert Lambie, son of Mr. William Lambie, of Taranaki. The Rev. W. Butterworth performed the ceremony. The bride wore a frock of pink georgette and carried a shower bouquet of chrysanthemums and dahlias. Miss Gretta Harman, of Hamilton, was bridesmaid, and wore a frock of ecru lace over lavender crepe de chine and carried a bouquet of autumn tints. Mr. David Laidlaw, brother of the bride, was in attendance as best man." 4
