9 August 1762
Was buried in ye Chancel of St.Andrews William Andrew son to Abraham Andrew of Wenvoe, aged 42 yrs fr. 7 days sickness in a violent fever rather a pluerisy being a man yt ye world prospered very much to him and his thoughts gone for recovering more of it but in an honest way would to his endeavour have his due from all and not but thro law of several of ym many glad of his death, but not to their better, he had dyed without his wife to know how it was between he and ye world and a man yt. trusted many and many small pieces of Tythes due out for him unknowing. He was under 7 score pounds of rent or more this 6 yrs. since last May past, in ye Parson house of St.Andrews keeping yt Tythes and God had increased him much in yt. time for all he gave £90 a yr. for ye same wch was £20 more than John Butler deceased nor any other gave for it. He was buried by a gift of his master Wells in ye Chancel of St.Andrews by ye wall between ye Chancel and Ile, were was buried some of ye Bassets. 3
