Thomas James Nisbet of Chimacum died of cancer in Kah Tai Care Center, Port Townsend. He was 87.
In was born to early Chimacum Valley settlers Hugh and Annie (Richmond) Nisbet on the family's dairy farm, and graduated from Chimacum school in 1936.
Mr. Nisbet married Venus Mosley in 1965.
He spent most of his life milking cows on the family farm. He also drove a Chimacum school bus for many years.
He was a member of Chimacum Grange and the Chimacum Masonic Lodge, and enjoyed trains.
Mr. Nisbet is survived by his sister, Margaret MacDonald of Bremerton and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother John H. Nisbet and sisters Marion McLarney and Jeanette Hoy.
