Shortly before Susanna's marriage, her natural-born son John Motley was christened on 23 Feb 1815; he was buried on 14 June following.
In 1851 Susan Smith (54) of Leake and husband John Smith (56) of Leake, cottager of 1 acre, were living in Leake Lincs. Present were daughter Sarah Smith (24) of Leake, granddaughters Susan Smith (5) and Bathsheba (1), both born in Leake.
