Abstract of the Will of David Lloyd of Glanywern in the Parish of Llandyrnog in the County of Denbigh, written 24 Mar 1736, proved 8 May 1736. 3

Refers to an Indenture of Settlement made and duly executed on the marriage of his daughter Barbara with Lewis Lloyd Gent. her late husband deceased to enable to charge his real estate in the County of Denbigh with any sum or sums of money, as per the following:—

He leaves and bequeaths all his personal estate to his friends and relations Hedd Powell of Hwlbin and John Powell of Broughton in the said County, Gentlemen, for the use and benefit of his daughter Margaret now the wife of Arthur Bennett Gentleman, and his wife Ellin.

Nominates and appoints his daughter Margaret executrix of his last will and testament, and also appoints his said friends Hedd Powell and John Powell executors in Trust.

David married Ellin Lloyd, daughter of Richard Lloyd of Deneio & Nevin and Barbara Anwyl. (Ellin Lloyd was born in Hafod wyryd, Penmachno, Caernarvonshire, Wales and was buried on 27 Oct 1759 in Llandyrnog, Denbighshire, Wales.)
