At the time of the 1871 England Census Henry S Drewry, aged 37, born in Kensington Middx, examiner in education, barrister-at-law, and wife Catherine S Drewry, aged 26, born in Wincanton Somerset, were living at 131 King Henry Road, Hampstead St. John London. Visiting was [Catherine's brother] William E Cooper.

At the time of the 1881 England Census Henry S Drewry, aged 47, born in Kensington Middx, examiner in education department, barrister-at-law, and wife Catherine S Drewry, aged 36, born in Wincanton Somerset, were living at 131 King Henry's Road, Hampstead St. John London. Present were children (born in Hampstead Midd.) Evelyn B (9), scholar, Arthur S (8), scholar, Henry S (8), scholar, Catherine L (5), scholar, Marion F (3) and Margaret S (inf).
