Henricus filius Evani William ex uxore sua Sara vch William (baptismal record)
-------------------------------
Henry Evan married at least twice. The name of his first wife is not known. A daughter, Elizabeth, was christened in Llanbedr on 24 Apr 1676, at which time Henry was of Garreg Lloyd in Llanbedr. By 1695 he was married to Eleanora, by whom he had three daughters, the eldest recorded of which was Margaret, christened in Llanbedr 12 Nov 1695, at which time Henry was residing in Pen y bont Newydd in Llanbedr.
Both of Henry's sons, John and William, had families and died before their father. It is likely that John was older than William, as John's daughter Margaret Jones (named in Henry's will) was married by 1734 and had an infant daughter.
