  Research Notes:

In 1834 Evan Rees was co-executor of the Will of his maternal grandmother Margaret William late of Bwlchgelleinion.

In 1851 Evan Rees, aged 64, born in Llanenddwyn Merioneth, farmer of 10 acres, and wife Jane, aged 61, born in Llanfrothen Merioneth, farmer's wife, were living in Bwlchgall Enjan, Llanenddwyn.

Abstract of the Will of Evan Rhys of Bwlch Callingan in the Parish of Llanenddwyn in the County of Merioneth, Farmer, written 27 Sep 1837, proved 9 Sep 1857. 2

Gives all his household furniture and farming stock, and all his money and securities for money, and the rest of his personal estate to his wife Jane Davies otherwise Rhys for her benefit and use, appointing her sole executrix of his last will.

An inventory of the goods & chattels of Evan Rhys late of Bwlch Cellengan was taken by John Roberts and Richard Jones and valued to £19 15s.
