On 23 May 1760 Evan William was a witness at the marriage of his sister Elizabeth to Edmund Lloyd.
Evan William was of Cefn-uchaf when his wife Dorothy died in 1790. Evan William of Cefn-uchaf was named as a witness in the granting of Admon of his cousin William Prichard of Pen y cerrig in Llandanwg in 1791.
Evan William was one of those who took inventory of Edmund Lloyd's goods and chattels after he died in 1798.
Evan William in his 1803 Will nominated Evan Lloyd of Caenest (Elizabeth's eldest son) as a Trustee.

In the name of God Amen, I Evan William of Gerddi-bluog in the Parish of Llanfair in the County of Merioneth, Widower, being advanced in Age, but of a Sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding blessed be God and considering the uncertainty of human life, Do make, publish and ordain this last Will and Testament in manner and Form following. That is to say
I do give and bequeath unto my son William Evans the Sum of Forty Pounds
Also I give and bequeath unto my Youngest Daughter Dorothy Evans the Sum of eighty Pounds with a Wainscot Chest, a Bedstead, Bedding & Bed Cloaths belonging.
And I do hereby nominate, constitute and ordain my eldest Daughter Margaret Evans Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, to Whom I give & bequeath all the rest and residue of my personal Estate both moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
And I do hereby ordain and appoint Evan Richard of Tyddun y rhyddid and Evan Lloyd of Caenêst Trustees of this my last Will and Testament, Earnestly desiring of them or one of them to see this my last Will & Testament fully & faithfully fulfilled and performed.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this eleventh Day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three.
Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Evan William as for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us Evan Anwyl, John Richards.
On the 21st Day of August in the Year of our Lord 1805 — the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved & in common Form of Law decreed valid — and Administration granted to the within-named Executrix Margaret Evans, she being first sworn in common Form of Law — and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels & Credits of the said deceased do not amount in Value to £300.
