"Mrs. Mary Matilda McKnight, wife of the late Mr. Alexander McKnight, passed away at a private hospital in Sydney on Monday last, January 30, at the age of 60 years. Mrs. McKnight was a resident of Alpha Road, Camden, and lived at Menangle for 25 years, and with her family was well-known througnout the district. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. McPherson of Nowra and West Maitland, and was born at Nowra. Her sons and daughters are Mr. Bill McKnight, Menangle; Stan, Camden; Heather, Mrs. Heinnicke, of Freemantle; Edna, Mrs. Woodward, Parkes; Alma, Mrs. Asher, Melbourne; Allan, Tamworth; Lila, Mrs. Wedmere, Putney; Keith, Balgowlah; and Bruce, Camden. She was the sister of Mr. G. McPherson, of Dairy Farmers' Milk Depot, Campbelltown; Mrs. Heighington, Glenfield; Mrs. Oates, Queensland; Mr. John McPherson, Queensland; Mr. Alex McPherson, Mascot, and Mrs. Rollinson, Queensland. The funeral took place yesterday, Wednesday, at the Presbyterian Church, Campbelltown." 4
