An exceptionally pretty wedding was celebrated in St. Luke's Church of England last Saturday afternoon, when Miss Myra Hollow, daughter of Mrs. Hollow of "Wilgadeen," Canadine? Lead, and the late Mr. R. C. Hollow, was married to Frank Narracott, of Quilpie (Q.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Narracott, of Quilpie.
The Rev. L. V. Caldwell officiated.
The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Dalwyn Hollow.
Mr. Richard Hollow (brother of the bride) was best man.
The- bride, looking particularly sweet and charming, wore a frock of angelskin lace, cut on tailored ones and which formed a train three yards long, with very beautiful hand-made Mahometan veil, which fell the full length of the train. She also wore a coronet of orange blossoms and carried a sheaf bouquet of' frangipanni and carried an ivory prayer book.
The Bridesmaid, Miss Elsie Conn (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Conn, of Dapper) looked very pretty in a broderie anglaise frock, with silk net frills at hem and sleeves. The waistline was formed with gold velvet ribbon to tone. Her head dress was of gold tulle veil, caught in place with a coronet of roses to tone.
The daintily attired flower girls were Annette Hollow and Shirley Hollow (cousins), both of whom are nieces of the bride. They each wore pastel pink georgette and carried gold colored baskets of roses.
Miss Betty Caldwell presided at the organ.
Mrs. Norman Chick sang "Because" while the register was being signed. Mrs. H. Newberry played the accompaniment.
The reception was held at St. Andrew's Hall, the Rev. Mr. Caldwell presiding.
The chairman explained there would be no toasts, but he said he couldn't help saying that it had beAJi'V&ice wedding, the two flower girls were pretty and the bridesmaid had nicely carried out her part.
The catering arrangements were a credit to Mrs. P. Boyd.
The happy couple left by car to spend the honeymoon prior to taking up their residence at Quilpie, Queensland.
The bride's travelling dress was of gold romaine with navy accessories. 5
