MR S. C. NARRACOTT.

ROCKHAMPTON December 6.

It is with deep regret that the news is chronicled in Clermont. of the death of Mr Stewart Carlson Narracott, a native of Clermont, aged 21 years, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. S. Narracott, Quilpie, and late of Clermont, and nephew of Mr and Mrs J. Sinnott, Clermont. Mr Narracott entered the service of the Education Department after finishing his education at the Brisbane Grammar School, and received an appointment as pupil teacher at the Quilpie State School. After remaining at this school for a number of years and qualifying as an assistant teacher, he received an appointment as head teacher of a school near St George. During the midwinter vacation he returned to his parents at Quilpie, but owing to illness was unable to resume his duties and was compelled to seek medical attention. ³
