In the Name of God Amen I James Lakeman of the Parish of Charleton in the County, Yeoman, being of sound Mind & good Memory Do hereby make my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First I will and direct that all my just Debts and Funeral Expences shall be paid and discharged.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizth. Pearse Widdow the sum of ten Pounds Sterling Money.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Pearse Widdow the sum of ten Pounds Sterling Money.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Margaret Crimp the sum of twenty Pounds Sterling Money.
Also I give to my Son James Lakeman All my Wearing Apparal.
All the rest of my Goods & Chattles & Credits & Effects I give and bequeath unto my Son Nicholas Lakeman and do appoint him my whole & sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I do revoke all former Will or Wills by me made and do declare this my last Will and Testament. In Witness hereof I have set my Hand and Seal this Fourtieenth Day of August and in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand Eight Hundred & Twelve.
All my above Legacies to be paid six Months after my Decease.
