Will of Harriet Staples late of Drummoyne, Widow, written 12 Jun 1924, probate 22 Aug 1927.
This is the last Will and testament of me Harriet Staples of Drummoyne in the State of New South Wales Widow. I revoke all other Wills at any time heretofore made by me. I appoint Arthur Nelson Littlejohn of Sydney Solicitor executor and trustee of this my Will. I give devise and bequeath to my said executor all my real and personal estate property and effects whatsoever and wheresoever situate upon trust, to ---?--- to my daughter Angelina Alberta Reid absolutely all my personal property (other than land and interests in land belonging to me or to which I have any claim) and as to all my lands and interests in lands to hold the same upon trust to divide all such in equal shares between my said daughter and my son Reginald Octavius Miller for all my estate and interest therein. And I direct that my said executor shall have full discretionary power to sell and dispose of all or any of my said lands and interests therein respectively but as soon as conveniently may be after my decease and either by public auction or privately for cash or on credit and in one lot or several lots. And I declare that he shall be entitled to charge and receive payment for all services rendered by him in about and in connection with this my Will and my estate generally and the management and administration of the same just as if he were acting ---?--- thereto and had not been an executor and trustee of my Will. And I declare that all my debts funeral and testamentary expenses and all Federal and State Stamp Probate estate and other duties payments charges and outgoings shall be paid out of my said lands and interests in lands and the proceeds of sale thereof. In Witness whereof I have to this my Will set my hand at Sydney this twelfth day of June one thousand nine hundred and twenty four. Harriet Staples.
