"Deserted Wives.
Frederick Timothy Squire O'Donnell, 29, who was defended by Mr.Meagher, was charged before Mr. C. Delohery, at the Central Police Court yesterday, with having deserted his wife Clara. Prosecutrix stated that she had six children, and had had very little money from accused for the past four years. He had "cleared out" from his sureties. His Worship ordered him to find sureties to pay 20s per week for 12 months, or to go to gaol for a term not exceeding 12 months. " 3
