Thomas was a carpenter, and worked for Charles Hardy and Co., Wagga Wagga. He moved to Perth, Western Australia, as foreman for Charles Arnott, well known builder, formerly of Wagga Wagga.

In 1931 and 1936 Thomas Robinson, carpenter, and wife Alice Ruby Robinson, were residing at 119 Walcott St., Perth. Also resident were Owen Thomas Robinson, clerk, Esta Martha Robinson, dressmaker.

Thomas Robinson of Mt. Lawley died at Subiaco aged 68 years.

"FUNERALS. The Late Mr. T.. Robinson. The funeal of the late Mr. Thomas Robin son. of 119 Walcott-street. Mt. Lawley, foreman builder for Mr. C. W. Arnott. contractor of Perth. took place in the Church of England Cemetery, Karrakatta, yesterday afternoon in the presence of a large and representative gathering. The service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev.C. W. Ker. A very popular member of the Australian Natives Association, the late Mr. Robinson had served on the board of directors and was a trustee of the association for some years and was held in very high esteem by all those connected with the building trades in Perth. He leaves a widow, two sons, a daughter and two step daughters. The chief mourners were Messrs. Owen and Fred Robinson (sons), and Mr. Fred Robinson (brother)...." 7
