"The top layer of the cake cut at the reception following the marriage of Betty Suttor and Driver Bryan McKay, was sent to the bride's brother, who is serving with the RAAF in England. Tho ceremony took place in the chapel at St. Ignatius' College, Riverview.The Rev. Father T. McLoughlin, S.J., officiated. The bride, who is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Suttor, of Rosedale Station, Tilpa, via Bourke, was attended by the groom's sister, Margaret McKay, and Lieutenant Brian O'Neill was best man. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McKay, of Kulkine, Warren. After the reception at 'Amory,' Ashfield, Driver McKay and his bride left for Katoomba." 4
