"The death occurred on Sunday morning at the Wagga Base Hospital of Mr. George Henry Hill, of Hebden street, Lockhart, and late of Wagga, at the age of 46 years. Mr. Hill was born at Wagga, and was lines foreman in the P.M.G.'s Department at Lockhart. He was well known and respected in both the Wagga and Lockhart districts, and was a returned soldier of the 1st A.I.F. He had been in indifferent health as the result of war wounds. He was a member of the Lockhart sub-branch of the R.S.S.A.I.L.A. Mr. Hill is survived by his widqw, two sons, Pte. George A. Hill (A.I.F.) and L.A.C. R. J. Hill (R.A.A.F.): three daughters, Misses Agnes J. Hill, Nancy M. Hill and Lynette Hill (all of Lockhart): one brother, Mr. John Hill (West WyaIong); and four sisters, Enid (Mrs. Robert Harmon, of Wagga), Mavie (Mrs. Fred Taylor, Wagga), Margaret (Mrs. G. Adams, Sydney) and Norma (Mrs. R. Kelsey, Sylvania. N.S.W.). The funeral will leave St. Michael's Cathedral, Wagga, at 2.30 p.m. today for the Wagga cemetery. Returned soldiers are re quested to attend." ⁵
