Abstract of the Will of John Williams Gwynne Hughes of Hafodnethin in Parish of Llangathen in the County of Carmarthen, Esquire, written 3 Apr 1830, proved 3 Apr 1832. ⁴

Refers to an Indenture dated 1-2 April in which a provision was made, after the payment of his debts, to give, devise & bequeath his personal estate to his wife Margaretta Juliana Georgina Hughes, whom he appoints sole executrix of his last will and testament.

Appoints his said wife, his brother William and the Reverend David Prothers guardians of his children.

In a codicil dated the same day he orders and decrees that his riding horses (except Fanny and Paddy), his little carriage and his dogs will be sold and the money to be added to the funds put aside for his younger children. He gives his said horses, Fanny and Paddy, to his brother William.
