Named in his wife's Will (1710) as party with her in an Indenture dated 13 Jan 1692/3 between them on the one part, Love Parry of Cesen Llanvair in the County of Carnarvon, Esqr. and William Anwyll of Doleserry in the County of Merioneth, Gent. of the other part... As a beneficiary of her Will, Richard was obviously living at the time, contrary to some sources which show him having died in 1694 (the year in which he was sheriff).

Richard Madryn died intestate. Inventory taken 28 Apr 1716. Admon granted to his sister Elizabeth Jones, widow, 14 Jun 1716. 2

Richard married Catherine LLOYD, daughter of of Rhosgyll fawr & Tan yr allt and Elinor HUGHES, before 13 Jan 1692/3. (Catherine LLOYD was born about 1668 and died on 10 Nov 1710 in Llanerch-fawr, Lleyn, Caernarvon, Wales.)
