Abstract of the Will of Christyn Borlasse of the Parish of St. Wem in the County of Cornwall, Widow, written 11 Jan 1552/3, proved 16 May 1553. 3

Gives to father Enys a cow.

Gives to her goddaughter Christyn a sheep.

Gives 12 pence to Arthur Whaye.

Gives 12 pence to Jane Water.

Gives 4 pence each to her goddaughters at Borlasse and at Rosemeryn.

Gives to the poor man's box 40 pence.

Gives her petticoat to her servant Maryon.

All the rest of her goods she gives to her six children William, Edmond, Walter, Frances, Elizabeth and Marget, appointing them co-executors of her will.

Witnesses: Sir Thomas Bawdyn, vicar, William Borlasse, and John Herrye.

Christian also married Walter Borlase, son of John Borlase of Borlas-Frank, St. Wenn and Margaret Kingdon. (Walter Borlase was born about 1482 in Newlyn, Cornwall and died about 1551.)
