Evidently in the late 1920s Thomas (Mr. T.O.) Roods and his daughter Florence (Miss F. R.) Roods visited England, as they were recorded returning to Australia, to their residence in Beechwood NSW, aboard the vessel Orford from London, arriving in Sydney on 13 Nov 1928. 5 Note that Florence Rosalie Roods was with her uncle Alfred Roods in Wychehurst Hankham at the time of the 1939 Register.
