" AN Air Force wedding took place at St. Aidan's Church, Launceston, Tasmania, when Miss Jean Adie McDonald was married to Flight Lieutenant W. L. Hely, of the Australian Flying Corps. The bride, who is the elder daughter of and Mrs. Frank McDonald, of Launceston, chose a pearl pink satin gown, and added a peach pink tulle knee-length veil and a bouquet of deep pink roses. Her veil was held in place with orange blossom and a coronet of real flowers specially sent from South Africa. The bridegroom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Hely, of Rockdale, was attended by Flight-Lieutenants .George Pither and Bill Garing. The bridesmaids were Misses Nan McDonald and Betty Hely. Flight Lieutenant. and Mrs. Hely flew to Melbourne and joined the Orion for England, where the former will be stationed for the next two years." 6 7
