"DEATH OF MR. L. G. TONKING, OF ST. JUST.

We regret to hear of the death of Mr. Leonard Gluyas Tonking, of St. Just, which occurred at St. Michael's Hospital, Hayle, on Tuesday.
Mr. Tonking was widely known throughout West Cornwall and was for many years the senior partner of the firm Tonking and Rough, chemists, at Camborne and St. Just.
Mr. Tonking was a brother of the late Dr. John Tonking, of Camborne, and of the late Mr. H. C. Tonking, the well-known organist, who frequently gave recitals at the Albert Hall and Queen's Hall.
Mr. Tonking, who was 61 [sic] years of age, is survived by his widow." 4
