In 1881, Ada Tonking (21) of St. Erth, teacher of music, was visiting John and Mary Hambly* in Foundry Hill St. Erth.
* Present there also was John Hambly's sister-in-law Elizabeth N. Hoskings, who was Ada's great aunt.
In 1891, Ada Beringer (31) of Camborne [sic] and husband John Beringer (34) of Camborne, teacher of chemistry, were living in Church-lane, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): Phillis (3), Walter (2), one pupil and two servants
In 1901, Ada Beringer (41) of Hayle and husband John J. Beringer (44) of Redruth, Principal Mining School, Assayer, were living in Pendarves Road, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): Bernard (5), Jean (3) Margery (2), governess Carrie J. Collins (21) of London, and 1 servant.
