In 1871 Abraham Hinder, aged 48, born in Broadtown, labourer, and wife Mary, aged 55, born in Broad . . . . . . . , were living in Village, Poulshot, Wilts. With them were [Abraham's father] Robert Hinder (77) of Bourton, widower, and nephew Israel Hall* (21) of Worton. * This was Ezra Hale, son of Abraham's sister Bethia.
In 1878 Abraham Hinder was a witness at the marriage of his niece Sarah Hinder to Eneas Burbidge of Worton.
