In 1851 Emma Warman, aged 19, born in Purton was with her brother Jasper Warman in Purton Common, Purton.

In 1861 Emma Hill, aged 29, born in Purton and husband Thomas Hill, aged 34, born in Liddiard, farmer of 60 acres employing 3 labourers, were living on Pinfold Farm Purton. With them was daughter Emily C. (7 months) of Purton.

In 1871 Emma Hill, aged 39, born in Purton and husband Thomas Hill, aged 42, born in Purton, farmer, were living on Pauna Farm Purton. With them were children (born in Purton): Emily (10), scholar, Fanny (8), scholar, Elizabeth (6), scholar, Thomas William (3), Benjamin (9 months).
