Thomas Pontin of Clyffe Pypard, yeoman made bequests in his 1761 Will to his kinsmen (great nephews) Stephen Hiscock the son of Sarah Hiscock widow and Robert Reeves the son of Eldridge Reeves all his freehold messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments at Bushton in Clyffe Pypard as tenants in common.
In 1776 Robert Reeve was a witness at the marriage of his cousin Margaret Hitchcock to John Cole.
