Abstract of the Will of Samuel Lane of Greenhill in the Parish of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wilts, Yeoman, written 19 Aug 1680, proved shortly after 30 Aug 1680.
Gives & bequeaths 20 shillings to his mother Susanna Lane.
Gives & bequeaths to his brother Gabriel Lane his gray coat with plate buttons.
Gives & bequeaths to his brother Thomas Lane his doe skin breeches and great gray coat.
All the rest of his woollen clothes he gives & bequeaths to his sisters Joane Parsons, Mary Parsons and Joane Lane the wife of his brother Thomas Lane to be equally shared among them for their children, whereof one of the coats is in the hands of young Robert Parsons.
All the rest of his goods & chattels he gives & bequeaths to his wife Ann Lane whom he makes the sole executrix of his last will and testament.
