In 1855 Charles Leighfield was a witness at the marriage of his sister Susan to Thomas Reynolds.
In 1861 Charles Leighfield (25) of Wootton Bassett, laborer, and wife Henrietta (24) of Wootton Bassett were lodging with Henrietta's parents Henry & Martha Norris in Wootton Bassett. With them were daughters Elizabeth (3) and Ann (10 weeks).
