With them was son John (2) of Wootton Bassett. Nextdoor on the one side was John Hunt (Sr) (76) of Wootton Bassett, gardener, widower, and on the other were Emily's parents.
In 1881 Emily Hunt, aged 38, born in Wootton Bassett and husband John Hunt, aged 48, born in Wootton Bassett, were living in Buthay Wootton Bassett. With them were children John (12), Elizabeth (9), Ellen (7), scholar, Frederick (4), scholar, Frank (6 mo). John Hunt's brother William (46) of Wootton Bassett, gardener, unmarried, was also present. Emily's sister Harriett Norris and her family were living nextdoor.
In 1891 Emily Hunt, aged 47, born in Wootton Bassett and husband John Hunt, aged 58, born in Wootton Bassett, market gardener, were living in Church St Nt Side Wootton Bassett. At home were children (born in Wootton Bassett): John (22), gardener's assistant, Bessie (19), general servant, Ellen (17), domestic servant, Frederick (14), general labourer, Frank (10), scholar. Emily's sister Harriet Norris and her family were living nextdoor.
In 1901 Emily Hunt, aged 56, born in Wootton Bassett, widow, was living in Buthay Wootton Bassett. At home were sons (all single): John (32), Frederick (24), market gardener, Frank (20)...
In 1911 Emily Hunt, aged 67, born in Wootton Bassett, widow, housekeeper, mother of 5 children, was living in Church St., Wootton Bassett. With her were children (born in Wootton Bassett, single): John (42), haulage work, Ellen (36), help, Frederick (33), dairy work, Frank (30), haulage work.

WOOTTON BASSETT.
OLD RESIDENT'S DEATH.—The town has lost another of its best known inhabitants by the death of Mrs. Emily Hunt, of Church Street, who passed away on Monday at the age of 87 years. She had lived in the town all her life. Mrs. Hunt's husband died 38 years ago. There is a family of three sons and two daughters, all living at home, the sons being hauliers and farmers at the Lawn's Farm. The funeral took place yesterday.
