In 1868 Frederick Ogborn and his future wife, Elizabeth Hunt, were witnesses at the marriage of his sister Julia Ogborn to Elijah James Duck.

In 1871 Frederick Ogbourne, aged 30, born in Wootton Bassett, ag lab, and wife Elizabeth, aged 20, born in Wootton Bassett were living in Buthay Wootton Bassett. With them was son Frederick (8 mo) of Wootton Bassett. Frederick's father, John Ogbourne, was living next door.

In 1881 Frederick Ogborn, aged 40, born in Wootton Bassett, labourer, and wife Elizabeth, aged 30, born in Wootton Bassett were living in High Street Wootton Bassett. With them were sons (born in Wootton Bassett): Henry C. (9), Frederick G. (7), scholar, Arthur W. (4), scholar.
