Abtstract of the Will of Patience Taylor of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wilts, Widow, written 28 Feb 1852, proved 14 Dec 1854. 4

Gives and bequeaths to her daughter Harriet the use of six silver teaspoons, a pair of sugar tongs and one tablespoon, her best four post bedstead with the feather bed mattress bolster and two pillows, two pairs of blankets, two pairs of sheets and one bed quilt, one china pot and one metal teapot, the card table and one tea caddy, one workbox in the sittingroom, one mahogany chest of drawers, and six chamber towels.

Gives and bequeaths to her grandson William Dixon the six windsor chairs which formerly belonged to his father.

Gives and bequeaths £10 to Mary the wife of Thomas Blanchett of Wootton Bassett, tailor.

Gives and bequeaths £10 to Mary the wife of John H----ey . . . . . . .

All the rest and residue of her moneys, securities and household goods she gives and bequeaths to her said daughter Harriet, and all other of her personal estate she gives and bequeaths to her brother Jesse Hunt of Hillmarton in co. Wilts, carpenter and joiner, appointing him sole executor of her last will and testament.
