In the 1939 Register Emily M Goodfellow (b. 2 Jun 1884), unpaid domestic duties, and husband John Goodfellow (b. 20 Jan 1880), joiner (carpenter), were living at 67 Armour Hill, Reading, Berkshire. At the same address were [children] Alice L Goodfellow (b. 21 Oct 1910), single, in domestic service, Victor F Goodfellow (b. 23 Mar 1922), apprentice draughtsman, and [Emily's mother] Laura Cole (b. 17 Feb 1858), widowed, incapacitated.
