In 1891 Ellen White, aged 26, born in Devizes Wilts and husband George A. White, aged 27, born in Crookham Berks, agent in Canal Company, were living in Canal Offices, Newbury Berkshire. Present was daughter Beatrice (5 mo.) of Newbury Berks.

In 1901 Ellen White, aged 36, born in Devizes Wilts: and husband George White, aged 37, born in Brimpton Berks:, canal inspector, were living in Canal House, Newbury, Berkshire. Present were daughters (born in Newbury): Beatrice (10), Dorothy (5), Kathleen (2)

In 1911 Ellen White, aged 47, born in Devizes Wilts (mother of 3 children, 1 deceased) and husband of 21 years George White, aged 48, born in Brimpton Berks. were living in Canal Office Newbury Berkshire.
