Eldest natural-born son of Mary Ann Broad, and christened Henry George Broad. By all accounts Henry adopted the surname of his mother's first husband, Charles Collins, who is recorded as being Henry's father when Henry married in 1883. As such it is quite possible that Charles Collins was Henry's biological father.
