Middlesex. Inq. Saturday after the Annunciation, 15 Edward II.

Edelmetone. The manor (extent given), jointly acquired by the said Geoffrey and Juliana de Leybourne, of William de Lettone and Martin Erchebaud, by fine levied in the king's court, by the king's licence, to hold to them and the heirs of the said Geoffrey, of the king in chief by knight's service.

Geoffrey his son, aged 17 at Whitsunday next, is his next heir.

Hertford. Inq. Thursday the feast of the Annunciation, 15 Edward II.

Sabrichtesworth. The manor (extent given), held of the king in chief by knight's service; from which there are due to Robert de Stanegrave 10l. yearly for life, which the said Geoffrey gave him three years ago without the king's licence.

Sussex. Inq. Thursday the feast of the Annunciation, 15 Edward II.

Hammes Say. The manor, held jointly by the said Geoffrey and Idonia his wife, by fine levied in the king's court between them and Thomas le Geggt to hold to them and the heirs of the said Geoffrey, of John de Warenne, earl of Surrey, by service of 13½ knight's fees, ½ qr. of corn, 3s. for the enclosure of the earl's park of Cokefeud, and 6d. for the earl's enclosure of Dychenyngh.

Beirlinge. The manor (extent given), held of the king in chief of the barony of Maminot.
Ewelle by Berlinge. 9a. arable, 6l. rent of assize, 20 hens, &c., acquired by the said Geoffrey to himself, Idonea his wife, and his heirs, and held of the bishop of Rochester by service of 100s.; and a water-mill acquired as above, and held of Sir John de Yfelde of his manor of Reiersshe by service of 16d. yearly rent.

Order not to intermeddle further with the manor of Westgrenewyche, the manor of Hammes Say, and 19 acres of land, a water-mill and 6l. of yearly rent in Ewelle, taken into the king's hands by him upon the death of Geoffrey de Say, and to restore the issues thereof, as it appears by inquisition taken by him that Geoffrey and Idonia his wife were jointly enfeoffed of the manor of Westgrenewyche on the day of Geoffrey's death of the enfeoffment of Geoffrey, parson of the church of Codeham, and of William de Terring', chaplain, by fine levied in the king's court without the king's licence, and that the manor is held of the king in chief as parcel of the barony of Maminot, and that Geoffrey and Idonia jointly held the manor of Hammes Say on the said day by fine levied between them and Thomas le Gegg in the king's court in like manner, and that the manor is held of John de Warenna, earl of Surrey, by knight service, and that Geoffrey and Idonia jointly held on the said day 19 acres of land, a water-mill, and 6l. of rent in Ewelle of the bishop of Rochester.
To the same. Like order concerning the manor of Edelmeton, as it appears by inquisition that the aforesaid Geoffrey and Juliana de Leybourne jointly held the said manor on the day of Geoffrey's death of the feoffment of Walter de Leitone and Martin de Erchebaud by fine levied in the king's court with his licence, and that the manor is held of the king in chief by knight's service.
To the same. Order to assign dower to Idonia, late the wife of the said Geoffrey, upon her taking oath not to marry without the king's licence.
