Mary Neville? 1 2

  • Married: Abt 1545, Charlton, Cropthorne, Worcestershire, England
  • Buried: Jun 1609, Cropthorne, Worcester, England 3

  Orthographic variation: NEVILL

  General Notes:

compiler's 12 x great grandmother

  Research Notes:

Mary is show in a multitude of sources (including both the 1569 and 1683 Visitations of the County of Worcester) as having been a daughter of Edward Neville, Lord Abergavenny. In the Visitation of Kent (1619-21), the Dingley Pedigree, headed by Henry's father, Johannes Dingley de Charleton in co. Wigorniæ, Armiger, shows Hen: Dingley de Charleton, Armiger, married to "filia Baronis de Aubergaveny" but does not provide her name or that of her father. The tradition which has Henry married to Mary daughter of Edward Neville of Abergavenny has been recently disputed, although an actual refutation of said tradition has yet to make an appearance.

  Marriage Information:

Mary married Henry Dyneley of Charlton, Esq., son of John Dyneley of Charlton and Elizabeth St. Nicholas, about 1545 in Charlton, Cropthorne, Worcestershire, England. (Henry Dyneley was born about 1515 in Charlton, Cropthorne, Worcestershire, England and was buried on 27 Feb 1589 in Cropthorne, Worcester, England 4.)
