Billye Jean Marek, 75, of Taylor, Texas, died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Heartwood Nursing Home.

Born April 13, 1928, in Taylor, she was the daughter of Nettie (Rusch) and Herman G. Rose. On March 26, 1948, she was married to Raymond R. Marek.

Mrs. Marek was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a piano teachers for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Pam Bachmeyer, a grandson, Dayne Bachmeyer, and a brother, Herman.

Survivors include daughters Charlotte Rose Fuchs and husband Raymond of Lake Jackson, Constance Janak and husband Calvin Jr. and Merry Mott and husband Leroy , all of Taylor; son, Shelley Marek and wife Dana of Taylor; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren...." 2
