Mildred Bohls Kuhn
Mildred Bohls Kuhn lost her courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's disease on March 29, 2010. Mildred was born on November 30, 1915 in Pflugerville, Texas. She married Donald Kuhn on September 15, 1936. They had 63 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death in 1999. Mildred and Donald moved to Austin in 1940 and this has been her home ever since. She was an active member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church. She loved her circle and women of the church workdays where she helped make quilts for Lutheran World Relief. She always looked forward to the yearly gathering of her first cousins. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ida Bohls and her only brother, Raymond Bohls. She is survived by her only daughter, Janice Wieland and her husband Homer; two granddaughters who were so precious to her, Scarlet Honeycutt and husband Rick and Kristy May and husband David. She had five great-grandchildren that she adored, Whitney and Eric Honeycutt and Morgan, Kristyn and Amanda May. 4
