In 1841, Mary Polkinhorn (40) and husband Bennett Polkinhorn (45), carrier, were living in Meather Sithney. Present were children: John (12), Jane (10), Edward (5)

In 1851, Mary Polkinghorne (55) of Wendron, married, was living in Folly, Camborne. Present were son Edward Polkinghorne (15) of Sithney, copper miner, visitor Joseph Polkinghorne (4) of Sithney, scholar

In 1861, Mary Polkinghorne (65) of Wendron, widow, was working as a servant for [widowed brother] William Hodge, farmer, in Coinagehall St, Helston.

In 1871, Mary Polkinghorne (75) of Wendron, widow, formerly housekeeper, was living in Wendron St., Helston.

Mary Polkinghorne of Helston died aged 76 years [sic] (burial record). Age was closer to 78.
