In January 1786 Margaret Blake was present at the marriage of her sister Phillis Blake to Nicholas Harris Nicholas in St. Martin by Looe.
In February 1786 Margaret Blake was present at the marriage of her sister Ann Blake to Paul Harris Nicholas in St. Martin by Looe.
In 1841 Margaret Nicholas, aged about 75, born in the county, and husband John Nicholas, aged about 80, Navy H.P., were living in Fore Street, St. Martin by Looe, Cornwall.
In 1844 Margaret Nicholas was sole executrix of her husband's will.
In 1851 Margaret Nicholas, aged 89, born in Landrake Cornwall, widow, gentlewoman, was living in Higher Market Street, East Looe, Cornwall.

Abstract of the Will of Margaret Nicholas of the Borough of East Looe in the County of Cornwall, Widow of John Harris Nicholas late of East Looe, Commander in the Navy, written 11 Dec 1844, proved 7 Sep 1852. 3
Gives to her son William Keigwin Nicolas of the said borough of East Looe, a Lieutenant in the Navy, her dwelling house in Castle Street in East Looe.
All the rest of her real and personal estate she gives to her five sons John Toup Nicolas, Paul Harris Nicolas, William Keigwin Nicolas, Sir Nicholas Harris Nicolas and Charles Henry Nicolas, in equal shares, appointing her son William Keigwin Nicolas sole executor of her last will and testament.
