In 1871 William Petherick, aged 40, born in Camborne Cornwall, engine driver on M.L.&S. railway, and wife Mary A. Petherick, aged 31, born in St. Helier, Jersey, were living in 66 Fowler St., Brightside Bierlow, West Riding Yorkshire. With them were children (born in Sheffield, Yorks.): William H. (3), scholar, and Francis R. (7m).

In 1881 William Petherick, aged 50, born in Camborne Cornwall, railway engine driver, and wife Mary Petherick, aged 41, born in Jersey, Channel Islands, were living at 155 Fowler St, Brightside Bierlow, West Riding Yorkshire. Present were children (born in Sheffield Yorks) William Oskin (13), scholar, Frank Richard (10), scholar, Mary Louisa (8), scholar, and Annie Elizabeth (6), scholar.

In January 1888 William Petherick of 155 Fowler-street Sheffield in the county of York, engineer, was granted Administration of the personal estate of his late brother Thomas Henry Ivey Petherick of Shanklin in the Isle of Wight, professor of music.

In 1891 William Petherick, aged 60, born in Camborne Cornwall, retired locomotive engine driver, and wife Mary Petherick, aged 51, born in Jersey, Channel Islands, were living at 155 Fowler St, Brightside Bierlow, West Riding Yorkshire. Present were children (born in Sheffield Yorks) Francis R (20), lithographic printer's app[rentice], Mary L (18), and Annie E (16).

In 1901 William Petherick, aged 70, born in Camborne Cornwall, retired locomotive engineer, and wife Mary Petherick, aged 61, born in Jersey, were living in Grovehill Rd., Beverley St. Nicholas, Yorkshire East Riding. With them was daughter Mary (27) of Sheffield Yorks.

In 1911 William Petherick, aged 80, born in Camborne Cornwall, widower, retired raily. eng. driver, was living at 35 Cambridge St., Bridlington Yorks. With him was daughter Mary Louisa (38) of Sheffield, single.
