In 1901, Hester Ann Paull (51) of Crowan and husband Henry Paull (53) of Illogan, farmer, were living on Carvannel Farm, Portreath, Illogan. Present were son Henry Arthur Gordon (5) of Illogan, nephew Leslie Ernest Paull (22) of Redruth, farm servant, domestic servant Mattie Goldsworthy (19) of Illogan.

In 1911, Hester Ann Paull (61) of Crowan (mother of one child) and husband Henry Paull (63) of Illogan, farmer, were living on Carvannel Farm, Portreath, Redruth. Present were son Henry Arthur Gordon Paull (15) of Illogan, working on farm, domestic servant Hilda Rebouse (17) of Illogan.
