In 1881 Clara Sargent (23) of St. Feock and husband William Sargent (24) of Bodmin, shoemaker, were living at 21 Union St., East Stonehouse Devon.

In 1891 Clara J. Sargent (33) of Feock and husband William J. Sargent (34) of Bodmin, labourer in marble works, were living at 33 Union St., East Stonehouse with son Fred (3) of East Stonehouse.

In 1901 Clara J. Sargent (42) of Truro and husband William J. Sargent (44) of Bodmin, general labourer, were living at 70 East St., East Stonehouse with children (born in East Stonehouse): Ethel (15), draper's shop assistant, and Fred (13).

In 1911 Clara Jane Sargent (52) of Feock, widow, was living at 7 Whittington St., Devonport. At home were daughters Ethel (25), bookkeeper, and Doris May (8) of Stonehouse. Clara had in all 11 children, 8 of whom died.

Possibly the same Clara J. Sargent who died in 1939 in Leicester aged 79 years.
