5 Compiler. Date of birth from secondary sources, which date matches his given age at death. To date, I've been unable to locate a birth entry in the South Australian register, even allowing for orthographic variations on his surname. Richard and Prudence had another son, also named Martin, born in 1839 in Helston, Cornwall. He must have died young, even though to-date no death/burial record has been found in Cornwall or South Australia.
