Free liberty power licence and authority to dig work mine and search for tin tin ore copper copper ore and all other metals and minerals whatsoever in and upon the ground hereafter mentioned (that is to say) from Brea Adit in the tenement of Brea in the said parish of Illogan where the Cross Gozan is cut one hundred fathoms south on the course of the said Cross Gozan and ten fathoms west and fifty fathoms east thereof and to work all the said described ground and all loads [lodes] and veins of tin copper and other metals and minerals whatsoever that shall or many be found discovered or gotten within the same..... Endorsed with memorandum of agreement between Mr Basset and Mr John Vivian on behalf of the Adventurers that the sett shall extend westward as far as the river dividing Illogan and Camborne upon condition that the Adventurers sink fifteen fathoms under the present adit and drive twenty fathoms of bottom at that level within two years, witnessed by Thomas Kevill, 11 July 1761
Also endorsed with further memorandum that whereas a load called Brea Load [lode] has in sinking underlayed north so as to be out of the extent of the sett within granted it is agreed between Francis Basset and John Vivian that the said load shall be considered to be within the said sett upon condition that the Adventurers shall sink twenty fathoms under their present adit within two years and drive twenty fathoms at the said level of twenty fathoms under the adit withn four years, witnessed by Thomas Kevill, 21 August 1762.

In 1776 William Tellam became a beneficiary of the will of his brother John Tellam of Illogan, yeoman, receiving £10.

Abstract of the Will of William Tellam of the Parish of Illogan in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman, written 29 Mar 1779, proved 18 May 1779. 3
Bequeaths to William Carpenter and Henry Carpenter the sons of his brother-in-law Henry Carpenter of Illogan all his woollen clothing.
Everything else he bequeaths to his sister Mary the wife of Richard Paull and to John Gribbell of Camborne, schoolmaster, in trust for his daughter Philippa Tellam, until she is married or attains the age of twenty-one years.
Appoints his sister Mary the wife of Richard Paull and the said John Gribbell co-executors of his last will and testament.
