In 1630 Elyzebeth Tregegan was the sole executrix of her husband's will, receiving his tenement in the hamlet of Chyvarloe in the parish of Gunwalloe.

In the name of god Amen I Elizabeth Stephen of the p'ish of Gunwallo in Winnington in the Countie of Cornwall sicke of Body but blessed be god in perfect sence & memory, Doe make this my last will & Testament, First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Jesus christ whome I confidently Believe dyed for me, & for my sins, & rose againe for my Justification to santificacion, and my body unto christian Buriall in hope of Joyfull Resurrection.
Imprimis, It. I give to the Chirch of gunwallow tenne shilings to be paide one Eare after my death.
It. I give to the poore of Gunwallow five shilings to be paide one Eare after my death.
It. I give to my sonne Thomas Tregigan his sonne Luke twenty shillings to bee paide one Eare after my death.
It. to his sister Grace twenty shillings, to be paide one Eare after my death.
It. to his sister Mary twenty shillings, to be paide one Eare after my death.
It. to my sonne Pascow Tregigan his sonne Robert twenty shillings to bee paide one Eare after my death.
It. to his sister Elizabeth Tregigan twenty shillings to bee paide one Eare after my death.

It. I give to Willyam Caddey twenty shillings to bee paide one Eare after my death.

It. I give to Francis Stephen fower shillings to be pd one Eare after my death.

It. I For give my husband that he oues me to the uttermost farthing.
It. I give to my sonne Paskow owne bedsted boulster which is standing over the Entry after my death.
All the Rest of my goods un bequeathed Moveable & unmoveable I leave unto my Dafter Loudey Caddey my Executrix whome I will & charge to performe this my last will & Testament.
