In 1940, Chris Bohlssen (62) of Wisconsin, proprietor of a grocery store, and wife Eda (62) of Wisconsin, were living in Oshkosh Ward 1, Winnebago, Wisconsin. Present were son Ralph Bohlssen (20), salesman in grocery store, daughter Jeanette Hibbard (32), widow, saleswoman in grocery store, grandsons Ronald Hibbard (6) and Gary Hibbard (5)

Christian Bohlssen, 80, of 69 Grove St., died today at 6:30 a.m. at Mercy Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past eleven years.

He was born Sept. 18, 1877, in Oshkosh, and resided here his entire lifetime. He was married here on May 23, 1907, to Miss Eda Fluor, who preceded him in death in 1947. Mr. Bohlssen was a retired grocer. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church.

Surviving are one son, Ralph Bohlssen, Fond du Lac; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Marmes, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Marion Wade, San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, George Bohlssen, Oshkosh, John Bohlssen, Hot Springs, Ark., and Charles Bohlssen, Caldwell, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Anne Brown, Chicago, and Mrs. Edith Kilmartin, Laredo, Tex.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews....
